 The mission of this journey was to create awareness about the tragedy of suicide:
—#3 killer of teens 14 to18—#4 killer of youth 19 to 25 — increasing in the elderly
And to draw attention to the availability of local suicide prevention and survivor services and "National Survivors for Prevention of Suicide Day" in the month of November 2000. As we traveled from coast to coast and back, our intention was to present a suicide prevention and awareness program every evening we were on the road . Our program consisted of a showing of the video "Jay In Shades Of Gray" , discussion and a question and answer period. The total program time was appromately one hour depending upon the volume of questions and discussion.
